FAQs

If you're new to The Leisure Company UK Ltd., this section may be able to help you with any questions you may have about our caravans, service, prices, payment etc. The majority of the time the answers to these questions can be found here!

  • We like several caravans you have for sale on the Internet and would like to view them. When can we visit and do we have to make an appointment?
    • We are open 7 days a week, 50 weeks of the year so you can visit at a time to suit you. You don't have to make an appointment, however, at weekends we can be very busy helping customers just like you. This process can take some time so we always recommend you contact us and let us know when you would like to visit. We will assign you an advisor who will help you every step of the way from choosing the ideal holiday home and park to answering your questions and explaining all the running costs clearly. We are a friendly family business and you will not experience any high pressure selling.
    • I like a particular caravan but my money does not come through for some time yet. What can I do?
      • This is a common situation you have money coming soon but you travel down on a fact-finding mission not expecting to find that perfect static caravan. Don't worry depending on how long it will be before your money comes through there are several solutions open to you. If your money is only going to be a couple of weeks to a month you can put a holding deposit down £500 - £1000 which will reserve this caravan for you. We will store the caravan free of charge in our secure compound until you can pay the required deposit to get it setup. If you have the 20% deposit we can take your static caravan to its site and complete the setup process so the day you pay your balance we can hand over your keys and you can move straight in.
      • What warranty will I get on a used caravan?
        • Depending on the range of holiday home you purchase, you will receive 6 or 12 months after care service. All of our models under go a 50-point QCI (quality control inspection) where most faults are established and rectified prior to reaching the showground. This service is not rivaled by any other company selling caravans in Skegnes. That's not our opinion it's our customers.
        • I would like a caravan park but I don't want to pay too much for the site fee?
          • With a choice of 55 caravans parks in Skegness and the surrounding area site fees starting as low as £1950 inc vat & rates, we are confident that we will find an affordable park for you.
          • Can we sub-let our caravan out and can you help us do so?
            • Yes you can. In fact more families are choosing to DIY sub-let their caravan to cover some of their running costs and some times make a little extra on top. Unfortunately The Leisure Company can-not sub-let your caravan for you but we can recommend some local companies that do offer this service along with weekend cleaning and change over packages.
            • I know what caravan I want but can not see it on your web site?
              • No problem. By using our caravan finder enquiry form we will help you find that perfect caravan. Please give as much information as possible: make and model, size, year, specification etc., and our team of buyers can normally find what you are looking for within a couple of weeks.
              • I like one of your caravans but I have a touring caravan I need to sell. Can you help me?
                • Yes. We will offer your caravan to 3 traders giving you the highest price of the 3. If you are happy with the valuation we will then CRIS your caravan and finalise the deal by taking the value of your tourer off the purchase price just like a part exchange. Once you have finished with your touring caravan just bring us the keys and we will deliver it to the dealer.
                • We are looking at buying a static caravan but would need finance, is this something you could help me with?
                  • Yes, we have a range of finance options available to suit your needs. All finance is subject to status and deposit criteria. Terms and Conditions apply.
                  • My gas certificate has run out, can you re-test my caravan?
                    • Yes, for a small charge a certified gas engineer will retest your caravan for you. However, should your gas appliances require a repair and you are no longer under warranty, additional charges will apply to correct the faults to ensure your caravan is once again in a safe working condition.

To Everyone at TLC. Happy Christmas. Thank you for all your help in our first year as caravan owners.
